We are offering a Power Skating Program to all players in U9, U11 and U13 as well as Hockey Skills based Program to players in U9 and U11. All of these sessions will be facilitated by Competitive Threads
U9/U11/U13 Competitive Thread Powerskating with Sara Diamond.Powerskating focused camp led by Sara Diamond
Sara Diamond hails from Bonavista, NL, and brings a rich and diverse background in both figure skating and hockey. Sara’s exceptional leadership skills carried her through five impactful years of CIS (U Sports) hockey at Mount Allison University. Since 2006, she has been imparting her expertise at hockey schools, becoming a lead instructor at the Danny Cleary Hockey Program in NL and, more recently, at the Oilers Foundation Hockey School. Her coaching credentials are impeccable, with HP1 certification and extensive experience coaching the NL U15, U16, and U18 high-performance provincial teams. Most Recently, Sara served as an assistant coach and skills coach for the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in the AJHL from 2022 to 2024.
U9 Powerskating will be at Michael Cameron Arena starting Thursday October 3rd 2024 6:45pm – 7:45pm
U11 Powerskating will be at Michael Cameron Arena starting Thursday October 3rd 2024 5:30pm – 6:30pm
U13 Powerskating will be at Michael Cameron Arena starting Thursday October 3rd 2024 4:15pm – 5:15pm
U9 and U11 Competitive Thread Skills
This season long camp is led by 3 Competitive Thread instructors and is a hockey fundamentals skills camp focused on skating, passing and stickhandling.
U9 Skills will be at Michael Cameron Arena starting Wednesday October 2rd 2024 4:00pm – 5:00pm
U11 Skills will be at Michael Cameron Arena starting Wednesday October 2rd 2024 5:15pm – 6:15pm
North SEERA Goaltending Sessions will be facilitated by Ian Gordon Goaltending this year.
Sessions will be at Michael Cameron Arena starting on Monday September 30th 2024 at 5:00pm-6:00pm
