Permits for Hockey Edmonton Teams Playing in EFHL

North SEERA Sock Policy for the 2024-2025

For the 2024/25 season, NSH will provide all registered players with one pair of game socks.

The socks are one style meant to be used for both home and away games.

Players should have another pair of socks to be used for practices to reduce wear on the game socks.

Please know that if the game socks need to be replaced mid-season, they will need to be purchased at $40/pair. Unfortunately, socks can not be replaced free of charge.

Kids Sport – Hockey Assist Program

WHAT IS THE KIDSPORT OIL COUNTRY HOCKEY ASSIST PROGRAM?

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and KidSport Alberta have teamed up to launch the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program!

The reality is that hockey is expensive and the cost to participate can be unattainable for families. We will support communities in Oil Country by covering the cost of playing hockey and learn-to-skate programs for kids from underrepresented groups.

Together, we will ensure ALL kids in Oil Country can play hockey.

Families will apply to KidSport as usual to access the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program. Approved applicants within Oil Country will have their full registration fees* covered and have access to no-cost equipment from Sport Central.

*Full registration fees, up to $5,000 will be covered for eligible families*

**Please note that in order to apply for funding, your player(s) must already be registered/registering with a minor hockey association within Oil Country.

NORTH SEERA HOCKEY SOCIETY

The North SEERA Hockey Society is the operating area known as Area II of the South East Edmonton Recreation Association (SEERA, also known as the “Southeast Zone”).
Formed in 1986, North SEERA operates minor hockey programs for young players aged 4 to 12, from the U7 level through to U13.

North SEERA combines with our sister operating area, Millwoods Hockey, to play under the SEERA banner at the U15 and U18 levels.
