- Helmet with cage
- Neck guard
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Hockey gloves
- Hockey pants
- Jock or Jill shorts
- Shin guards
- Hockey socks
- Skates
- Stick
- Water bottle (labelled)
- Hockey bag

What to Expect During the Season (U7–U9)
For our younger players, we focus on fun, confidence, and learning. Here’s what a typical season looks like:
- Start of season: September evaluations & team placement
- 1–2 ice times per week (weekends only)
- Cross-ice games for U7, half-ice games for U9 (age-appropriate format)
- No standings or scorekeeping at these levels
- End-of-year jamboree or tournament
Volunteer Commitment
North SEERA relies on volunteers to keep costs affordable and teams running smoothly. Every family is asked to contribute time during the season — this could include timekeeping, helping at tournaments, organizing events, and more.
We collect a $250 undated volunteer cheque per player. It’s only cashed if the volunteer requirement is not fulfilled.
