Seed Money & Budgeting

Each player contributes an amount at the start of the season to help cover team costs such as tournaments, team apparel, and wind-ups. This is referred to as Seed Money.

Typically ranges from $100–$200 per player (teams can set exact amount)
Should be collected early and tracked clearly
Provide families with a team budget outlining estimated expenses and fundraising goals

Fundraising Guidelines

Fundraising helps offset team expenses and should be fair and inclusive. Consider:

Poll your families to understand fundraising preferences (raffles, bottle drives, etc.)
Ensure you follow all local gaming and licensing rules (raffles, 50/50s, etc.)
Keep fundraising optional—offer opt-out fees when appropriate
Use proceeds only for agreed team expenses (not personal items)
