What to Expect During the Season (U7–U9)
For our younger players, we focus on fun, confidence, and learning. Here’s what a typical season looks like:
- Start of season: September evaluations & team placement
- 1-2 ice times per week (weekends only)
- Cross-ice games for U7 half-ice games for U9 (age-appropriate format)
- No standings or scorekeeping at these levels
- End-of-year jamboree or tournament
Volunteer Commitment
North SEERA relies on volunteers to keep costs affordable and teams running smoothly. Every family is asked to contribute time during the season (helping with timekeeping, tournaments, events, etc.).
We collect a $250 undated volunteer cheque per player — it’s only cashed if the volunteer requirement is not met.
