2012-2013 Registration Information
NO Mail-In Registrations-INPERSON or Appointment ONLY
NO mail-in registrations will be processed, any registrations received by mail; or, that are otherwise considered ineligible will be returned unprocessed. Your child’s Pre-registration form is on the back of this letter for faster processing and your convenience. Check the In-person dates below for when you can register for the 2012-2013 hockey season with North SEERA.
North SEERA will not operate tier 1 try-outs for the 2012-13 hockey season; in any hockey categories. SEERA will be operating tier 1 try-outs for the Peewee category; check the SEERA website at www.seera.goalline.ca for information if you have a peewee aged player and are interested in the peewee tier one process. All peewee players trying out MUST register with their home association (ie NORTH SEERA) before sending in the tryout form to SEERA. All North SEERA Bantam aged players trying out for CLUB ie MLAC or SSAC NEED to contact North SEERA’s Registrar (780-463-5736) for registration instructions.
Returning Members:
Registration form MUST be fully and correctly completed, updated and signed, determine which inperson registration and applicable fee your will attend to register inperson.(Height, weight, shoots (left/right), position (s), community membership)Please check the registration information carefully and MAKE any corrections, modifications or update information on the form, and return when registering INPERSON.
North SEERA will require 2012-13 Community League Membership(maybe available at Inperson)

Respect in Sport Parent Certification (One parent/ guardian PER HA (Hockey Alberta) MUST be certified.
Payment Options: All registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. (As per North SEERA parent’s Handbook page 5, #3 paragraph 2) The parent handbook is available on the North SEERA website: www.northseera.ca

PLAYERS WISHING TO WITHDRAW FROM THE North SEERA HOCKEY PROGRAM MUST SUBMIT A WRITTEN REQUEST TO THE REGISTRAR PRIOR TO NOVEMBER 1, 2011, TO RECEIVE A 50% REFUND
A LATE REGISTRATION FEE OF $35.00 WILL BE APPLIED TO REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER
September 1st, 2012.

All contact information has been, corrected/updated (ie: E-mail: this is extremely important as receipts (for tax purposes) are sent to this contact).
Respect in Sport {RiS Parent} (Parent Certification Completion)-per Hockey Alberta: Hockey Edmonton has mandated, ‘no member will be eligible to participate in program until qualification is met’, new or returning. This certification takes approximately 1 hour to complete, online, has a cost of approximately $12.00, have credit card on-hand when signing in, please put complete family profile information on so the certification can be assigned to ALL hockey player members (current/new or future members) https://hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com

Privacy Agreement Utilization form (North SEERA’s form which will be required at time of registration filled out and signed by parent /guardian on behalf of player).

Coaches

Follow Volunteer Screening process (ie: Police Check)
Respect in Sport Coaches (Per Hockey Alberta: All coaching staff will be required to have the RiS Coaches certification starting the 2012-13 season)
Appropriate level of coaching Qualification, for desired Category, ie: Initiation/Peewee etc.
